BusinessMind Software for Jewelers Supports Automatic Currency Exchange Rate Lookups

The latest version of BusinessMind introduces support for automatic currency exchange rate lookups. (Requires an internet connection.)

BusinessMind Software for Jewelers has included multi-currency management features for several years. These features make it simple to manage jewelry inventory when trading with partners that are abroad.

When receiving jewelry inventory from foreign trading partners, item costs and invoices may be listed in the vendors native currency. BusinessMind's multi-currency support features allow you to work with those currencies easily by converting them to your own native currency behind the scenes automatically.

In the most recent release of BusinessMind, these features have been given an extra boost of helpfulness through a new ability that allows BusinessMind to automatically lookup currency exchange rates for you. This new features requires that you have an active internet connection. 

If you do, simply select the foreign currency you will be working with from the drop down list containing the 3 letter codes for all the world's currencies, and BusinessMind will automatically lookup the exchange rate for you via the internet. This rate will be used to automatically manage the background conversion of the currency you are working with. Currently, the feature supports rates which are updated from global exchanges on an hourly basis.
