Jewelry Store Point of Sale

The point of sale module was designed to be fast and simple to operate while still offering the many features which are necessary for a jewelry store POS. The POS module is capable of performing over 35 jewelry store POS specific functions.

Data from the POS flows into the other modules of the system such as inventory, customers, and accounting, in real time because the POS module is a fully integrated part of the application. The jewelry point of sale module takes advantage of this by including features for updating customer data and tracking campaign effectiveness. The POS inherits the applications stringent security and user authorization controls. It also inherits the systems powerful built in search engine, Indy Search.

The point of sale module can operate on a standard PC or laptop (iPad and iPhone support available in version 6) as well as dedicated all-in-one point of sale hardware. Cash drawers, receipt printers, card swipes, bar code scanners, and other typical point of sale hardware is supported.

The point of sale incorporates an extensive feature set including support for standard and on account (accounts receivable) sales, layaways, returns, repairs, services, special orders, deposits, gift cards, trade-ins, appointments, refunds, discounts, international tax rules, tax exemptions, shipping, split tender types, multiple sales associates, commission splits, campaign tracking and much much more.

Fast & Simple to Operate

The POS is simple and quick to operate. Most common transactions can be completed from start to receipt in less than 15 seconds without extensive training or uncommon computer skills.

Credit Card Processing

The POS module provides optional integrated credit card processing through the merchant service provider of your choice* (compatibility test required), or through one of the three built in merchant service providers.

Barcoding & RFID

The point of sale takes full advantage of barcoded jewelry tags as well as RFID jewelry tags.

Images

Integrated support for images is used extensively throughout the POS.

Receipt Options

Receipt printing is supported on regular printers using plain paper or preprinted stationary, as well as on 4 inch spool receipt printers. Gift receipts and emailed receipts are also supported.
