Transform SKU from Workshop

BusinessMind has always included workshop management features for creating jewelry assemblies. The workshop module includes the ability to manage and track complex builds with multiple components for heavy duty manufacturers. It also excels at lighter use for simple assemblies like setting a center stone to a mounting.

The latest release introduces a “Transform SKU” feature that more easily allows you to perform work on an existing SKU to modify it as opposed to combining materials to create new items. The Transform SKU option allows an existing inventory item to be modified in the workshop. The modification may also change the cost of the item. When the work is complete, the item returns from the workshop back to availability in stock while retaining it’s original SKU.
